Managing Change

Managing change in the workplace is never easy. Most would agree that it's best done with people onboard, empowered and playing an active role. But if managers understand the basic principles of managing change, why do so many change initiatives encounter setbacks, rocky roads and false starts and so often lead to demotivation and disagreement?

This workshop reviews the very best frameworks from change management gurus and gives participants an opportunity to work through relevant case material, picking up invaluable tips and ‘tricks of the trade’ from the practical examples. Above all it enables them to focus on what they need to do to make their own change initiatives successful.

Managing Conflict & Acting Assertively

While conflict isn’t necessarily a bad thing, managing conflict is something which many of us find hard – we either ‘duck’ it, overreact to it, or provoke it unnecessarily. The results can be personal stress, poor relationships, bad decisions and under-performance.

This one-day workshop is designed to help participants manage conflict positively - facing up to it when necessary and handling it in such a way as to create constructive and, if possible, win-win results. As part of this process, the workshop also focuses on dealing with difficult colleagues and working relationships - readjusting perceptions and developing strategies accordingly.
